Does your upline tell you that your first leads are your family and friends? What other upline strategies did your upline show you? Does it makes it hard to believe that your business is at the heart of your upline when marketed this way?

When I got started in my MLM, I was told to use the proven offline methods. Were you told to make a list of 100 people and to see if they want extra cash.

I was unprepared with the phone hangups and rejection. They told you it was a business of "sharing" and not "selling" yet how come no one is interested?

Being shunned by everyone you know and then having your upline explain you didn't want it enough. I reasoned that if I had a strong "why" that would be enough to succeed. My "why" was strong but my "HOW" was non-existent. Then I learned "how" to build my business outside of old network marketing methods.

The marketing system is the "how". There are many out there. Many claim getting massive hits and traffic to your site.

Junk traffic is easy to get and this is not junk traffic? The traffic needs to be specific, is it useful? Reps seems to think all leads are created equal and all are useful. Not all leads are considered equal. Laser targeted leads paired with a marketing system will have your traffic sign up for your information is key. Leads are the life blood to any online network marketing business. Having more than you can handle is essential.

Marketing system don't need to be expensive to run. The idea can be used over and over. Follow one that is generic enough to use and won't interfere with your current home business. Automated sales and information capturing should only be part of the marketing system. The total system should help a distributor attract, capture, and provide service.
